Description
Allium Ostara is a stunning result of the cross between atropurpureum and karataviense. Allium Ostara has deep reddish purple flowers on stocky stems with wide leaves which is typical of the karataviense varieties. Ostara is 10"-12" tall and blooms late spring-early summer. 12/14cm bulb. (I'm sorry, we are not allowed to ship this item to IDAHO)

Ornamental onions perform beautifully, blooming late spring through early summer; they add a different, spectacular or architectural dimension to the garden; many suitable for Heirloom gardens and sunny, well-drained meadow; also wonderful cut and dried flowers; Giant (volleyball-softball), 1 per sq. ft.; Large (baseball-tennis ball), 5 per sq. ft.; Small(golf ball - marble), 10 per sq. ft.

Our pollinators are so important to the sustainability of our gardens and food crops for insect and birds and if each of us participates in healthy gardening practices and chooses some of the pollinator attracting plants, we can collectively make a HUGE difference.
