Description
Hippeastrum Juniper - a beautiful combination of pale pink, pale yellow and creamy white on long elegant petals with a dark stem; 16"-20"; 4"-5" flowers; approximately 3-4 weeks to bloom.

Hippeastrum (Amaryllis) grown in South Africa where their autumn is our spring, these hippeastrums, if planted in November, should be raring to go and be in bloom for Christmas! The smaller flowered 'Sonatini types' also throw a lot of flowers even though they are smaller in size. After they have finished blooming, if you keep them in a sunny window and don't let them dry out, after danger of frost, they are the PERFECT size for planting in the garden in areas where they'll be winter hardy to zone 7; 18/20cm bulbs.
