Description
Tulip Apricot Beauty is a single, early spring blooming tulip bulb that has a soft, salmon color with light rose flames on the outer petals; variable and changing, but so exquisite in color that it is much in demand. Like all tulipa, tulip bulbs are from the Liliaceae family. Tulip Apricot Beauty is excellent for forcing and has fragrant flowers that are long lasting. This fall planted tulip bulb requires full sun and average soil. Tulip Apricot Beauty blooms 12"-14" tall and is good for winter hardiness zones 3-8. Tulips are incredibly diverse, and will enrich any garden situation.
The peacocks and parrots of the bulb world, tulips offer are more sizes, shapes and colors than you can imagine for any type of garden design scheme. Divided into 15 divisions usually depending on shape, bloom time or heritage.Plant 4x their height deep (8"-10" for regular sized tulips; 4"-6" for small tulips); 12+cm bulbs unless otherwise noted.
