Summer 2010 > Bulbs > Genus List > Lilium, oriental > Liliaceae[Printer Friendly Version]

'Tom Pouce' - shares its name and coloration with a yummy Dutch dessert, each petal is outlined with hot pink and has a golden yellow midrib; colors are darker at the points of the petals and gets lighter towards the heart; a terrific grower and a real eye catcher! mid-season bloomer.

Their beauty and fragrance will take your breath away in the garden and will delight your friends when you use them in flower arrangements. Also the lighter colored cultivars are great in the Evening Garden. They perform best in full sun in rich well drained soil either in the gardens or in patio containers. They make great companions with other bulbs, perennials and are great butterfly plants. 16-18 cm bulbs; 1-2 per sq. ft.; zones 4-9.8.
