A fast growing nativar that forms a dense mound of lime green foliage that turns blazing orange and red in autumn; deer resistant; blooms early to mid-summer; full sun to part shade; 36″-42″;whz 4-8; plug.
A tough, adaptable native shrub that thrives in sun or shade and tolerates poor soils with minimal maintenance. Its yellow flowers offer sweet, honey-like nectar enjoyed by pollinators and followed by attractive fall foliage color. Though they tolerate full sun, those with lighter foliage appreciate some afternoon shade.
