This heirloom, tuberous perennial, that is native to Mexico, quickly develops into a bushy plant that is covered with fragrant, trumpet-like blossoms from white to yellow, orange, pink or red; carrot-shaped top sized tubers. (Note: usually blooms from 8pm until 10am for us and is visited by many evening pollinators!) 1 per sq. ft.; whz 7b-10; blooms mid summer to frost; critter resistant.
