Description

This deer and rodent-proof plant is a cross between Amaryllis belladonna and Crinum moorei that adores our hot, humid summers! Bold, dark green foliage is evergreen in zones 8-10 and deciduous in zone 7. Soft pink flowers bloom in clusters of 10-16 atop 2’-2 ½’ stems. It’s one of our favorite garden plants and is wonderfully fragrant! For us it seems to be more perennially reliable in full sun in rich, well-drained soil. 20/24cm bulbs; 1 per sq. ft; whz 7-10; blooms late summer – until frost; plant in containers in whz colder than 7; heirloom 1920.
