The KARMA GROUP of Dahlias was bred with the cut flower industry in mind. Their very strong stems also assure that they stand up well in the garden.
Native to Mexico and Central America, dahlias provide us with more pleasure than almost any other summer bulb. They produce an abundance of wonderful flowers perfect for ‘gift giving flower arrangements’ throughout early summer and again in late summer until frost. If they are picked for arrangements, these ‘cut and come again’ plants require almost no care, they appear to be pest resistant and they come in a myriad of colors. They are happiest in full sun but will tolerate light shade. Top-sized tuber clusters; approx. 1 per sq. ft.; whz 8-10; have overwintered in our whz 7 gardens with extra winter mulch and excellent drainage among our daffodils and tulips; most flowers are 2″-3″ across and plants are 1′-2′ tall unless otherwise stated; top-sized clustered tubers.
