Dense clusters of starry flowers appear on top of 12”-24” spikes, making it a valuable cut flower. It’s also a valuable garden plant because its blossoms are so long lasting in the mid to late summer garden. Native to Europe, Asia and Africa, they are also smashing in patio planters with other summer flowering bulbs and annuals. Large 20/+cm bulbs produce long-lasting creamy, softball-sized florets with greenish/black superior ovaries in the center of each flower; superb long-lasting cut flower; 3’-4’; 4 per sq. ft.; whz 7-10.
