Dark green, mint scented foliage that takes on a silvery hue in late summer; supports a diverse group of native bees and butterflies; blooms mid summer to early fall; native; deer resistant; heat and drought tolerant; 24″-36″; whz 4-8; plug.
Attractive foliage with a minty fragrance and definitely a must for any pollinator garden. Pycnanthemum prefers moist to dry, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade, with the best flowering occurring in sun. They can spread aggressively by rhizomes but are easily controlled if spreading is not desired.
