Lots of tubular, super fragrant blossoms with incredibly thick, waxy substance bloom on top of 18”-24” stems with foliage that is 1’ tall. If the bulbs are planted in the spring, they bloom in late summer. However, when they overwinter, they bloom earlier and seem to last forever. Bulbs can be started indoors for early bloom, and should be if you live in a climate with a short summer season (see our heat mat). Victorian favorite; used pre-1600; 3-5 per sq. ft.; whz 8-10; has overwintered in our garden with winter mulch and good drainage. (This was one of our grandmother's favorites - one flower makes the house smell wonderful!)
